Yasemin Dirik

Yasemin Dirik is a Toronto-based designer, originally from Izmir, Turkey, and a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Design program at Ontario College of Art and Design University (OCAD U), majoring in Industrial Design. Yasemin’s work focuses on the intersection of creativity and functionality, with a particular passion for colors and patterns. Her designs are vibrant and adaptable, whether for interiors, wearables, or everyday objects.


Yasemin has a keen interest in packaging design, believing that successful industrial design should marry functionality with aesthetics. She carefully observes graphics, color schemes, and the functionality of packaging, identifying opportunities for creative improvements in industries like food, beverage, and cosmetics. For Yasemin, packaging is a playground where creativity knows no limits.


Her cultural background plays a significant role in her work, often integrating aspects of her identity into her designs.
